Valuing a business is not an exact science that will always result in Buyers and Sellers reaching the same conclusion as to the company’s value. One party might feel that the business should be valued using the Income Approach while the other party might feel that it is more appropriate to use the Asset Approach. Even if the parties were to agree to the appropriate valuation method, their value determinations may still vary significantly depending on how each views the risk associated with the investment, or perhaps how each views the future and how the business should be operated going forward.

We will work with your management team and advisors to determine how you should value your business, as well has how the business might be valued by your counter parties. We will then use this information to develop a “deal structure” that will achieve your goals and objectives and maximize the net present value of your share of the pie.
